About the event
Have some fun in the sun with your little ones at Nevada Beach on Friday August 13, 2023 from 9:00am to sunset. Learn about natural resource conservation and help LEAD a beach clean up. Ride a Boat, Go tubing, Try an Efoil, Play Games, Win Prizes and Eat BBQ. Our day will begin with learning the 7 Principles of LEAVE NO TRACE; followed with a Beach Clean Up, collecting trash and recycling along the Lake Tahoe shoreline and Nevada Beach day use area. After that our Volunteer staff will be offering Boat Rides, Tubing, Kayaking, and Efoil Lessons. Play Games and have a chance to Win cool Prizes. Eat tasty BBQ for lunch with Vegetarian options available. We will conclude our event with another Beach Clean Up and LEAVE NO TRACE educational refresher.
